Son of William Culp and Perlina Emma "Emma" (Farthing) Bentley. Wade was a rural mail carrier north of Albany for thirty years, retiring on March 31, 1934. He married on April 15, 1908 to Bessie Olive Peery. They were the parents of three children. Wade died at his home in Albany, Missouri and was buried September 1, 1963 in Grandview East Cemetery.
