Graveside services was held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Thomas Cruthis officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Easley was born May 1, 1927 to Reuben Calloway Childers and Juanita Walker Childers. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Greensboro, a teller for Wachovia Bank for 10 years and retired as Director of the preschool at First Presbyterian Church with 20 years service.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Doris Lynn Easley and her husband Torrence "Bud" Easley who passed away on February 1, 2017.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Smith and husband Allen; son, Mark Easley and wife Jeanie; sister, Hazel Hileman; 3 grandchildren, Tucker Smith, Samantha Smith and Megan Easley.
