1954 - 2017 Karen Lindsey Hanson, 62, of Beaumont passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on November 29, 1954 to Dorothy Gaston Lindsey and Jiles C. Lindsey, and was a retired U. S. Postal Worker and Texas Careers Registrar.

Karen is survived by her husband, Kyle Blake Hanson; daughter, Amanda Hanson and her significant other, Andre Francis, of Beaumont; parents, Jiles and Dottie Lindsey, of Jasper; sister, Madeline Lindsey McGallion, of Houston; sister, Melinda Lindsey Stapleton; brother-in-law, Clint Stapleton, of Jasper; sister-in-law, Kay Simon, of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 nieces, 6 nephews, 9 grand nieces, 9 grand nephews, and numerous friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Lindsey Chauvin, of Colmesneil, Texas.
A memorial service for Karen will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering of her family and friends to follow until 4:00 p.m. Complete and updated information may be found at: broussards1889.com.
