Doris Viola Platz, 78, long time resident of Arco passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Willows in Blackfoot, Idaho.
She was born May 25, 1939 in Bellevue, Idaho to John Carson and Agnus Viola (Cecil) Sievers. Doris was raised and attended schools in Bellevue where she met and married John Frederick Platz on august 10, 1957 in Bellevue. they had a son and three daughters. They lived a short time in Cobalt, Idaho and Shoshone, Idaho before moving to Arco, where she resided until her passing.
Doris is survived by her Husband, Fred; her son, two daughters, 11 grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jack Sievers, and a daughter Rita Marcotte.
