Springs Residents killed Oklahoma accident
OKLAHOMA CITY – Two Colorado Springs residents died after being thrown from their vehicle in an accident in western Oklahoma, authorities said.
Jason Allen Gordon and Star Magana Secunda Gazer were killed early Monday when their sport utility vehicle ran off Interstate 40 in Beckham County and rolled 3 ½ times, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Gordon 19, died en route to an El Reno hospital, while Gazer, 20, suffered head and internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the 6:10 a.m. accident, troopers said.
Another occupant, 18-year-old Stacy Willoughby of Colorado Springs, was listed in stable condition at an Oklahoma city hospital. Gazer’s 1-year-old daughter, Zinai, was buckled into a car seat and was not hurt in the accident, the patrol said.
