Darrell Wayne Casey, age 53, of Kendallville, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Kendallville, Indiana.

Darrell was born October 21, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Darrell was preceded in death by both parents, Kenneth Darrell and Karen Sue (Lawton) Casey.

Darrell was a 1982 graduate of East Noble High School.

Darrell was employed at the Kendallville Do It Center and previously was employed as a substitute school teacher at East Noble School Corporation. He was an energetic and charismatic person who enjoyed woodworking, playing Texas Holdem tournaments, as well as traveling with his wife.

Survivors include wife, Cheryl Casey of Kendallville; step-children, Chris and Beth Heimann, Melinda and John Squier, and Caryn Thompson; 10 Step-grandchildren; sister, Cheryl and Chris Ramsey of Kendallville; sister, Jenni and Brian Ritchie of Kendallville; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 6:00pm with calling from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
