Eliza "Jane" Smith, 75, Nixa, MO. formerly of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Friday, August 11, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, after a long illness.

She was born on December 23, 1941 to Sidney and Gladys Marie (Garland) Cass in Stigler Oklahoma. Jane had worked for the Assemblies Of God, in the division of Foreign Missions, and had worked for Project Rescue, for many years. Jane loved Jesus with all of her heart and served him all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lon William Smith, in 2010, and her brother Sidney Wallace Cass.

She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses; Kim and Tim Brower and Kari and Karen Smith, two grandchildren; Max and Sam Brower, two sisters and their spouses; Sophina and Dean Dunn and Vonetta and Don Buss, a sister-in-law; Doris Jean Smith, along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, August 15, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
