Barbara D. Ellison, 84, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017. She was born on February 24, 1933 in rural Fillmore County, Nebraska, to James J. and Lucile (Lutz) Hill.
Barbara and Rex were married on June 11, 1950 in Fairmont, Nebraska. Their union continued for 57 years until Rex's passing in 2007.
Barbara is survived by: daughter, Barbara Taylor (Jim); son, Douglas Ellison (Bobbi); grandchildren, Alex Taylor (Brenda), Audra Taylor, Wesley Ellison (Ashley), Nicole Ellison, Jessica Ellison; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; eight nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Donna Hill.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Rex M. Ellison; parents; brother, James M. Hill; and niece, Barbara A. Moore.
