In Memory of Raymond Roosevelt Henry III On August 9th, 2017 Raymond Roosevelt Henry III went on to be with the Lord.

Born in Gary, Indiana on December 10th, 1960 to parents Raymond R. Henry Jr. and Letha (Henry) Williams, he is survived in death by his mother, four grown children: Joshua Lee (and Larisa) Henry, Anna (and Jay) Aimutis, Gabrielle (and Rafael Del Real) Henry, and Allison Henry, as well as four grandkids: Liam and Hailey Aimutis, Judah Lake Henry, and a granddaughter on the way. Raymond was also survived in death by his brother Jerry and sister Robyn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond retired from U.S. Steel, where he worked for thirty-six and a half years. He was a lifelong weightlifter and martial artists, having earned blackbelts in both Karate and Tae Kwon Do. Raymond was also an avid gunman, fisher, golfer, craftsman and he enjoyed cooking.

Raymond had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and was passionate about sharing his love for the Lord with others.

Viewing times are Monday, August 14, 2017 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm at Rees Funeral Home in Portage, 5341 Central Ave., with a funeral service starting at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery at approximately 1:30 pm.
