Jo Ann Manning, 77, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She was born October 23, 1939 in Tillar, Arkansas to the late Andy Singleton and Bessie Ainsley Singleton. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Joe Rice; her second husband, William K. Manning; and five brothers.

Jo Ann worked many years for both Mount Vernon and Vilonia School Districts. She was an active member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and dearly loved her church family. She enjoyed traveling, taking pictures, being a Wheel of Fortune guru, watching her grandkids play ball and going on cart rides with them. She loved attending family reunions and truly loved her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and she was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Greg Rice (Sybil), and William K. Manning II (Debbi); daughters, Sandy Brewer (Mark), Denisce Warren (Mike), and Diane Almond (Jerry); eleven grandchildren, Ginger Goben, Marcus Brewer, Maggie Brewer, Misti Gunter, Mashea Keller, Amy Pringle, David Thomas Pierce, Shannon Almond, Jason Almond, Nathan Almond, and Christi Brandon; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Naylor Cemetery in Naylor, Arkansas.
