Connie was born to Virgil and Erma Rock Sutton on May 12, 1953, in Rochester. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1971 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in health and human services from the University of Phoenix in 2007. She was most recently completing her master's in professional counseling at Grand Canyon University and was passionate about her volunteer work for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She worked as a social worker for many years at her home in Tucson, Ariz., and recently relocated to San Antonio. Connie was also an avid blood donor and enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her family and friends.
Connie is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Kimberly and Candy ; her son, Justin
Preceding Connie in death was her mother, Erma Sutton.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date in both Rochester and Tucson, Ariz.
