Rufus Junior Good, 65, of 2276 Farmview Rd., Luray, died on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017.

He was born on March 8, 1952, in Luray and was a son of the late Rufus Luther Good and Carrie Victoria Gray Good.

On July 7, 1986, he married Diana L. Wailes Good, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Jeremiah J. Good and wife Michelle of Stanley; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Gamble of Stanley; three sisters, Grovene Cave, Nancy F. Aleshire and Mary Rothgeb, all of Luray; two grandsons, Jonathan Test of Orange, and Tyler Gamble of Luray; and two granddaughters, Mackenzie Stillwill of Luray, and Ashlynn Good of Stanley. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny, Clyde, Albert and Carol “Bossy” Gray; and a sister, Nellie Turner.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Leake’s Chapel Church of the Brethren in Stanley by the Rev. Eric Croft.

The family received friends on Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
