Huber, Eric J., 46, El Dorado, AR, formerly of Saint Boniface, passed away June 24, 2017 in Coalport. Born February 11, 1971 in Spangler, PA, son of John M. and Betty Lou (Christoff) Huber. Preceded in death by his brother John A. Huber. Survived by his parents, his children, Deric J. Huber, St. Boniface; Tyler D. Huber, Hastings; Chelsea C. Huber, Oklahoma; his grandchildren Dahlyn Jane Huber, Dax M. Huber, and Ari Olivia Huber; his siblings Kevin Huber, Neal Huber, Jason Huber and Ashley Fowler; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well his devoted friend Denise Hofer. Eric was employed by the Petrin Corporation LLC, where worked in Asbestos Removal. He was a hard worker, an avid hunter, he enjoyed working out, and was the type of person who would do anything for anyone who needed it. He loved his family, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. BECCARIA TOWNSHIP – An Oklahoma man died Saturday in a motorcycle crash in Clearfield County.
The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. Police said Eric Huber, 46, of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, was traveling west on Union Road and Westover Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was operating while trying to make a left-hand turn.
Huber struck several street signs on the south side of the road, according to a police report. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Coroner’s Office.
State police were assisted by personnel from the Glendale Fire Department, Madera Emergency Medical Service and the coroner’s office.
