ATLANTA - Mrs. Annie B. Trammell, 77, of Atlanta died Sunday, April 4, 2010 in Atlanta. Funeral services are planned for Saturday, April 10 at 1 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Jerome Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett. Mrs. Trammell is survived by her husband, George R. Trammell Sr.; by Sherry Dozier, Mary Trammell, Thijuanie Lockhart and Tynesha Lockhart; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
Born Jan. 9, 1933 in Chambers County, Mrs. Trammell attended school in Huguley. She joined Zion Rest Church in Valley at an early age and later married and moved to Atlanta. George and Annie celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2009. The family may be contacted at the home of Mae Griggs at 1311 54th St. in Valley. Visitation will be held Friday, April 9 from noon to 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home in Valley. Foreman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
