Doyle took his last breath on the morning of August 2nd while sleeping peacefully at home. He was born in Wainwright, Ok. on August 20th, 1930. He came to Modesto in 1948 where he lived his entire life. In 1951 he met and married Barbara Ford and fathered 3 children. They had a fairytale marriage of 60 years until her death in 2011.

Doyle served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. Doyle spent his life in the trucking industry as a business owner, driver and dispatcher. He will be remembered as an honest, hardworking midwest gentleman who made people laugh.

He is survived by his sons Gene and David Ford and his daughter Charlotte Walton.

Services will be at Lakewood Memorial Chapel in Hughson, Ca. The viewing will be on Thursday Aug. 10th from 4-8pm and the funeral will be on Friday, August 11th at 10am.
