Scott Martin Thompson, 53 of Bluefield, VA, passed away on August 8, 2017 at his residence. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Jack and Macie Stevens Thompson.
He will be remembered by the mother of his sons: Lorie Pence Thompson; his 2 sons: Jared Thompson of Bluefield, VA and his fiancé, Brittany Adkins of Sevierville, TN and Nicholas Thompson and wife, Sydney of Chapin, SC; special aunt: Margaret McCormick of Boissevain, VA.
A memorial service for Scott will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 6:00 P.M. with Rev Doug McDaniel officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
In keeping with his wishes, Scott has been cremated and interment will take place at a later date.
