Born to Charles Kenneth Church Sr. and Dottie Moxley Church Baird. Kenny graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School in 1965. He was retired from Swedish Match where he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor. Kenny also served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Kenneth Church Sr., sister, Carol Briesath.
