MEADOWS OF DAN, VA ~ George Wesley Belcher, age 91, passed away Saturday, August 28, 1999, at Blue Ridge Nursing Home, Stuart.
Survivors are his wife, Lelia Wood Belcher, Meadows of Dan; sons and daughters-in-law: Vernon and Eula Belcher, Woolwine, Kenneth and Hilda Belcher, Floyd, Odell and Ellen Belcher, Meadows ofDan; brother, Herbert Belcher, Meadows of Dan; sisters: Eva Conner, Floyd, Treva Underwood, Meadows of Dan, Audrey Cockram, Stuart; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Rev. J.C. Willard officiating. Burial was in the Wood Family Cemetery.
