Michelle Carpenter, 58, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, Aug. 6, 2017, after her 11-year battle with a very rare, terminal cancer. She will be dearly missed by the many lives that she touched. She was born March 30, 1959, in Cedar City, Utah, the second child of five born to Paul and Donna Martin. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Blake Carpenter of St. George, Utah; her daughter, Cory and Robert Avery of St. George, Utah; son, Ryan Carpenter of Las Vegas; daughters, Felicia Day of St. George, Utah, and Elizabeth Carpenter of Tucson, Ariz.; son, Jacob Carpenter of St. George, Utah; and her 12 wonderful grandchildren. Viewing will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, with service following at 11 a.m., both at the Pine View Ward Stake Center, 2450 E. 600 N. Burial will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
