Annabelle married James McClaran on August 10, 1947 in Chili, Indiana. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2005.
Annabelle enjoyed traveling to Florida after retiring. In her free time, she liked to sew, garden, and fish, as well as cook and clean around the house. She loved her dogs, and her dog, Angie, survives her.
Annabelle is survived by her children Steven "Mike" (Cindy) McClaran, James "Joe" (Tami) McClaran, and Linda (Gary) Gulley; grandchildren Melissa (Tim) Johnson, Ashley (Gary) Rowe, Lindsay (Travis) Berry, Amy (Chris) Long, Ryan McClaran (Elizabeth), Brent McClaran (Dreama), Kristin (Bob) Crowder, and Courtney (Rafael) Johnson; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Annabelle is preceded in death by her husband, James McClaran; her parents Fred and Clotelle Miller; brother John Miller and sister Mary Davis.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 12 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Dan Murphy. Annabelle will be laid to rest at Albright Cemetery.
