Steven F. Acosta, Age 66, passed away at home in Cedar Park, Texas on 6 August 2017 surrounded by family.

Steve graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School May 1969. He worked in Houston for several years until he met and married his wife on 30 November 1991. They moved to Cedar Park in May 1993 and had their daughter in September 1994. He taught himself guitar and even played occasionally with his high school friends from #2 Dinners. He worked for Austin Independent School District for 24 years. He was a very quiet man and was always friendly.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Acosta, daughter Melissa Acosta, his mother Bertha Acosta, brothers: Tommy Acosta, Paul Acosta, Peter Acosta and sisters: Dorothea Acosta, and Patricia Acosta, sister in laws Leticia Acosta, Theresa Acosta, Andrea Acosta and many nieces and nephews.

His father Tom B. Acosta precedes him in death.

A visitation followed with Rosary will be held. Funeral Mass will be at Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church, 1715 N Zarzamora, San Antonio, TX 78201. Interment to follow San Fernando #II Cemetery 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
