ALVARADO -- Douglas Wade, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, in Crowley. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at the Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home. Douglas was born on March 29, 1934, to Dewey Frank Wade and Bessie Mae Hudson. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 35 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda Lue Wallace Wade. SURVIVORS: Douglas is survived by his two children, Kendell Wade and Lori Tidwell Moore.
