Sandra (Pellett) Sexton, age 82, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Eugene Sexton, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, August 3, 2017, at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA surrounded by family. She was born in Hartford, CT on October 20, 1934, to Milton and Dorothy Pierce Pellett Sr. of Fairfield, CT. An ambitious student early on, Sandy excelled in academics, graduating from the University of Connecticut, with honors, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. She enjoyed a long career in East Hampton, CT. which was the couple's primary residence while they raised a family. There, she was well known as a friend to the community, the pharmacist at Thatcher's Drug Store. Recently residing in Lenox, MA she relocated from Coventry CT. to be closer to her family in Lee. She is survived by her children, Melanie Glynn, Randall and Todd Sexton, and three grandchildren; Garrett Glynn, Zachary and Eliana Sexton, extended family, and many loving friends. A private Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, September 16th in East Hampton, CT for family and friends. Memorial donations are encouraged to be sent to the "Arthritis Foundation" in c/o the Kelly Funeral Home 3 Main Street, Lee MA 01238.
