Mrs. Ann Freeman Payne passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House.
Ann was born on March 20, 1935 in Concord to the late Hub and Daisy Rummage Freeman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Frank S. Payne; brother, Noel Freeman; granddaughter, Becky Henry.
Ann had worked for many years as a Seamstress in a hosiery mill. She also enjoyed fishing, gambling, and bingo with her friend Brenda Sossaman.
She is survived by her son, Tim Thomas and wife, Sandy; daughter, Barbara Clay and her companion, Wayne Beaver; grandchildren, Bonnie Bishop, Terri Henry, Jake Thomas, Madelyn Chase Thomas.
