Judy Carson Manning, age 70, of Millers Creek, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born December 10, 1946 in Wilkes County to Julius "Bill" Carson, Sr. and Louise Cardwell Carson. She was previously employed with Gateway Insurance for 25 years. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, J.B. Carson.
Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Wiles of Hays; son, Glen Manning of Tilghman, Maryland; sister, Sheila Walsh of Purlear; brother, Ronnie Carson of Seattle, Washington.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Miller Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joey Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 1:00 until 2:00 on Saturday, prior to the service. The family has requested no flowers and no food. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
