Lee Roy Shaw, 83, of Pampa, died August 8, 2017 in Pampa.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Shaw was born March 29, 1934 in Roy, New Mexico to Lonzo and Hazel Shaw. He married Wilma King on April 5, 1952 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2015 after 63 years of marriage.

Lee Roy had been a resident of Pampa for 75 years when not traveling for his job. He worked for Nelson-Sikes Pipeline Construction and Enerpipe Pipeline Construction for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed playing 42 and loved his grandbabies.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharon James and husband Gary of Pampa; his son, Michael Shaw and wife Pam of Borger; grandchildren, Willie Shaw and wife Tamara, Nonnie Peters and husband Jacob, Michael Shaw, Ali Jones and husband Justin, and Jessica Williams and husband Kyle; great grandchildren, Baileigh, Tucker and Madelyn Shaw, Macy and Tuff Peters, Walker and Blayne Jones, Jace, Landyn, Carter and Adrian Williams, and MaKaylay Lile; two brothers, William Shaw and wife Jenny, and Jackie Shaw and wife Marlene; four sisters, Mary Denham and husband Ray, Geneva Thompson and husband Bill, Virginia Ridgway and husband Bill, and Darlene Asencio and husband Ray; a sister-in-law, Barbara Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lee Roy was preceded in death by a brother, Vinson Shaw; and his sister and brother-in-law, Lillian Chesher and husband John.
