Joyce Eckert Harris, age 80 passed away Monday, August 7, 2017. She was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God. She was also a member of F.C.E. club and a retired Elementary School Teacher.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Joe and Alpha Eckert; Brother, Joseph William "J.W." Eckert; and one Sister, Joan Eckert.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Church of God on 1090 East Gaines Street from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 and the Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11am at the church.
Intermemt will be at Unity Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or any School Library.
