TRENTON -- Josephine Eunice Leibrandt, 88, died Thursday, (Nov. 5, 2001) at El Dorado Manor in Trenton.

She was born Jan. 31, 1913, at Hastings to Jacob and Clara (Trupp) Wagner. The family moved to McCook when she was eight years old. She graduated from McCook High School in 1931.

On Oct. 19, 1947, she married Walter Leibrandt at McCook. She worked as a bookkeeper at Shores Auto Supply for 45 years. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter on Sept. 30, 1985; and two brothers, Charles Wagner and Robert Wagner.

Survivors include one son, Robert Leibrandt and wife, Danielle of North Platte; two daughters, Waldine Harris and husband, Beryl of Omaha, and Alta Thompson and husband, Keith of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Margaret Duncan and husband, Ivan of Denver, Colo., and Mary Ann Wall and husband, Les of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Carl E. Pullmann officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is tonight until 8 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook.

Memorials may be given in her name to El Dorado Manor.
