Dr. Davis attended Ohio State University and graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1942, the only woman in her class. She married a fellow classmate, Dr. James Robert Davis, shortly after graduation and they moved to Wabash, Indiana and started their veterinary careers. They later moved to Franklin, Indiana and established their own practice. In 1986 she moved to High Point, NC to be near her daughter. She was preceded in death by her sister. Harriet Sage Williams.
