William Edward Abrams, 61, of Coal Grove, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Crystal Care Nursing Center in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. The Ironton, Ohio native was born November 7, 1955, a son of the late Ferdia and Mabel Brown Abrams.
 
William attended Ironton High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. He received his degree in welding.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by:
a sister: Frances Arlene Harris
 
He is survived by:
an uncle: Earnest (Mary Jane) Brown of Sioux City, SD
his siblings: Debra (Danny) Conley, Belinda (James) Harris, Donald Prince all of Coal Grove, James (Mary) Prince of Champaigne, IL, Linda Prince of College Station, TX, and David (Ashley) Abrams of Coal Grove
his brother-in-law: Earl Keith Harris of Coal Grove
a friend: Michael Cremeans of Ironton
and several nieces and nephews that are very special to him
 
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Jared Timberlake officiating. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery and visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
