Julia Louise Bettag, 93, of Texarkana, TX, died Sunday, August 6, 2017, in a local hospital. She was born February 13, 1924, in Paxton, IL.
She was a homemaker and was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvel Thompson, and her second husband, John Bettag, Jr.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Kunnanon Thompson; one grandson, Tripp Thompson; step-daughter, Cris Prince; brother, Carl Martin; nephew, Brad Martin; two nieces, Patrice and Marita; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
