On July 20, 2017, James “Jimmy” Drennan left this Earthly world to meet our Heavenly Father. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife and family after a courageous battle with cancer. Jim was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend to all. Many friends and family covered him in love throughout his illness.

Jimmy was born on December 5, 1974 in Dubai, UAE. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lauryn Miller Drennan and his two sons, Miller 8 and Parker 7; his mother and father, Franca and James Drennan of New Boston, Texas; his sister, Christina Drennan Graham and her husband, Tim Graham and nephews, Tyler and Trent Graham of New Boston, Texas. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Capt. Michael G. Miller and Joyce Husers Miller and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, who all adored him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Evelyn Drennan and Otello and Sylvana Vettor.

Jim graduated from New Boston High School in 1993. He was a 1997 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science.

Jim attended Faith United Methodist Church in Richmond, Texas.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Jim was a huge fan of his beloved Fightin’ Texas Aggies.
