Mrs. Janet Lee Andrews, 74, of Rochester passed away at 5:15 PM,Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Woodlawn Hospital.
On September 8, 1941, Janet was born in Rochester. She was a cherished daughter of Leonard and Marjorie Moore Woodcox. Growing up she shared her childhood with two sisters.
Janet and Jerry Lee Andrews were married on March 18, 1958 in Rochester. They have shared 58 years of life’s adventures. From their union came four wonderful children a daughter and three sons. Cindy, Robert, David and William. The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of two more generations.
With great pride Janet loved working in her yard, taking meticulous care of the lawn and flower gardens. Each spring she planted flowers to enhance the beauty of the landscape. To relax she enjoyed playing bingo and snaring the bargain of the day at a garage sale.
Preceding Janet in death are her parents and a sister, Joan Cunningham.
