Henry Robinson Palmer, 75, editorial writer, author, historian and poet, and prominent in Brown Alumni affairs, died Sunday night at Stonington , where he was born, and where he had lived since his retirement in 1938.
A graduate of Brown Universily in 1890, he was associated with the Providence Journal for 48 years, being its chief editorial writer since 1915.
He founded the Brown Alumni Monthly in 1900, and was its editor for 31 years,
Brown gave him his master's degree in 1909, and an honorary Litt. D. degree in l911.
Surviving are his wife , two sons, and a daugbter.
