Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church for Taft resident Priscilla M. Alberty, 85. The Rev. Richard Williams, vicar of St. Andrew's will officiate at the services. Private burial will take place in Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Alberty was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts on April 7, 1911 and passed away April 11, 1996 in a Bakersfield hospital. She moved from Massachusetts to Taft in 1974. Mrs. Alberty was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Women. She was also a member of Deserettes and a former volunteer at the West Side District Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Lang, in May 1955 and her second husband, Richard Alberty, in August 1986 Her survivors include a daughter and her husband, Priscilla and Jack Magar of Taft and a sister, Winnifred Anderer of Gloucester, Massachusetts.

The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Albert's memory may be sent to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 508 Woodrow Street, Taft, California 93268. Friends may call on Monday until 8:30 p.m. at the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home to pay their respects.
