Scott Edward Perry, age 55, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Scott was born on November 29, 1961, in Livermore, California, to Edward Allen Perry and Barbara Rae Hatt. He spent most of his childhood and early adult years in Idaho Falls and Boise, Idaho.

He had a lifelong devotion to learning. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University. Prior to that he completed his Associate of Technology in Electronic Systems Technology from Idaho State University and Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Boise State University. Scott worked for Broadcom, having spent over 20 years as an employee of the Hewlett-Packard-related spin-off companies, and enjoyed working with his coworkers.

He married Janet Lea Burnett on July 19, 1997, in Fort Collins, Colorado, two years after meeting on a blind date. Together, they had two children – Savanna Kay Perry, age 15, and Dylan Scott Perry, age 12. Savanna had her dad wrapped around her finger starting the day she was born, and Dylan and his dad were two peas in a pod with their common interests. Scott's greatest love in life was his family, and his family loved him just as much. Scott enjoyed camping, dirt motorcycles, engineering, cars, building with his son, listening to his daughter play violin and spending time with his family.

Scott is survived by his wife, Janet; his daughter, Savanna; his son, Dylan; his mother, Barbara; his step-father, Bill Parke; step-brothers Jay and Tad Parke and their families; his aunt and uncle, Linda and Tom Hoffman; and many more wonderful family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother, his Aunt Patti and all of his grandparents. Scott's family appreciates the love and support they received during his brave fight with bladder cancer and appreciates the continuation of that love and support after his loss.
