Outstanding Athlete, Consummate Educator, Champion Basketball Coach, Inspirational Mentor and Christian Community Leader, "K.C." Farrar was born November 4, 1929 in Carter Nine, Oklahoma to Charles & Beulah Farrar. K.C. taught and coached multiple championship basketball teams at West Cottonwood Junior High. A founder of Plus One Mentors and Anderson-Cottonwood Neighborhood Church, K.C. was married for 66 years to Carroll Jeanne Farrar.

K.C. is survived by his wife Carroll and children Mike (Glynes), Kim, Kaye (J.R.) and Lynn, grandchildren Annie (Adam), Jeff and Ryan.
