Stephen Ellsworth Turner passed away on August 2, 2017 in Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on November 17, 1944 in El Reno, OK.

Stephen was a graduate of El Reno High School and a lifetime Canadian County area resident. He married Martha Fry on April 7, 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was retired from the U.S. Army National Guard after 39 years of service. He was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents: Stacy & Edith Blanche (Simmons) Turner.

Survivors include: His wife Martha (Fry) Turner of the home. 2 – Sons: Kenneth Belshe & wife Denise of San Augustine, FL. Keith Belshe of Bethany, Ok. 3 Daughters: LaShawn Kochenower & husband Gary of Kingfisher, OK., Tammie Furgeson & husband Dr. Michael Furgeson of Yukon, OK. Debbie Wittrock & husband David of Okarche, OK. 2 – Brothers: Stacy Charles Turner of El Reno, OK., Phillip Wolfe & wife Beverly of Houston, TX. 9 – Grandchildren: Julie Denise Merritt, Jaren Diane Wittrock, Jenni Dawn Wittrock, Maci Renee’ Barnes, Cloi Elizabeth Kochenower, Morgan Taylor Furgeson, Logan Douglas Furgeson, Ava Renee’ Belshe, Andrew Wayne Belshe.5 - Great Grandchildren and numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the El Reno Cemetery Pavilion with Military Honors. U.S. Army Chaplain will officiate. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
