He was retired from Phillip Morris and worked at Quest Diagnosic and UPS.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Albert "Bud" and Virginia "Gin" Barrett; brother, Michael; and his long time partner, David Miller and his beloved dog, A.J.
Ronnie is survived by his brother, sister, his best friend and caregiver, 11 nieces and nephews, eight great-nieces and nephews, beloved dogs, Sadie and Lil Byt.
He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to American Cancer Foundation or Kentucky Humane Society.
