David B., born December 30, 1936 passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Eldena Ash.


Born in Louisville, David retired from G.E. as an Engineer and was a Marine Corps Veteran. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, exercising, and being health conscious. David recently fell in love with sailing.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas (Sonya), Greg (Shannon), Anthony (Alisha), and Tim; daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Ash and Morgan Ash; sisters, Patricia Aneszko, Martha Harris (Jack), and Mary Snyder (Ken); brother, Frank Ash; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 12-8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
