Reba M. Martin, 89, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esley and Gay Mannon; her husband, Clarence S. Martin; and a sister, Eunice Austin.
A “perfectionist in an imperfect world” is how she is fondly remembered by family and friends. Reba retired from JC Penny after having worked for over 20 years, but her shining star was being a loving mother and grandmother.
Reba is survived by her children, Ron Martin and Deborah Martin Cobb; her granddaughter, Sommer Whitney Cobb; two nephews, Mike and Chuck Austin; and a niece, Cathy Adkins.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Noon, Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Oakey’s North Chapel with Rev. Jim Rivers officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
