William Harmon Williams, 66 years old, brother of Mrs. Sarah Carter, Weston, died Monday at the home in Parkville after an illness of two years. He was a former employee of the Griffin Trucking Company, and was a lifelong resident of Platte County.

A son of J. B. and Mary Elizabeth Hays Williams, he was born in Dearborn, Mo October 30, 1888. He was a member of the Baptist church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Rose Williams of the home, two sons, William Edward Williams, Pittsburg, Calif, and Billy of the home, a stepson Otis Roberts, Kansas City, eight sisters, Mrs. Reed Hulett, Kansas City, Mrs. Laura Wisner, Mrs. Logan Hays, Mrs. Ezra Wallace, Mrs. Frank Riedesel all of St Joseph, Mrs. Byron Carpenter of Arizona, Mrs. John Caughlin, Chicago, and Mrs. Sarah Carter, Weston.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. S.F. Moore were help Wednesday afternoon at the Vaughn Chapel. Miss Jane Kirk, accompanied by L.R. Vaughn at the organ, sang Beautiful Isle of Somewhere and the Old Rugged Cross.

Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
