In her early years, she enjoyed helping with her children’s Boy Scouts and school sporting events. Susan loved going to the races and began hot rod racing from 1972 – 2003. She was also a member of the National Hot Rod Association. Susan worked for Walgreens on E. Euclid for 17 years where she handled the Hallmark greeting cards.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Bruce Wolfe of Aberden, WA; daughter, Tricia Wolfe of Ocean Shores, WA; grandson, Kayson; siblings, Michael (Paulette) Young and Gloria Anderson; nieces & nephews, Michael Young, Jr., Michelle (Tony) Phillips, Marci (Craig) Carlson, and Lisa (Tim) O’Meara; and many other loving family and friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Dorothy Young; son, Shane Wolfe; and grandchildren, Nathan and Allison.
Private Inurnment will follow at Franklin Township Cemetery in Santiago, Iowa at a later date.
