Catherine A. Woods, 93, passed away on February 25, 2017. She was born to the late Merle and Tressie Sims.

Along with her husband Elmer, they owned Woods Market in Beech Grove for over 30 years.

Catherine is survived by her son Scorchy (Jan) Woods; daughter Phyllis (Dave) Miller; granddaughter Dawn Adams; great-grandchildren Randi Adams, Lynnsi (Remy) Strosnider, and Jared Adams; great-great-granddaughter Lilly Strosnider; and sisters Mildred Martin and June Ware.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Woods; son Lester Woods; brother John Sims; and sister Helen Clark.
