She is survived by her beloved family and friends.
Born in Bitumen PA on January 29, 1933, daughter of the late Michael and Jennie (Huling) Hritzko. Shirley was a graduate of Renovo High School, in PA, class of 1950, and worked as a telephone operator before serving in the United States Air Force as a parachute rigger, achieving the rank of Sargent.
She loved sewing, crossword puzzles, and reading. Shirley was also the librarian, and past 10 year chairman of the membership committee for Plymouth Mobile Estates.
A visitation will be held at Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St. Plymouth, on Sunday, August 6th, from 4:00 till 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day at St. Peter’s Church at 10:00 am. Interment in the Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth. Donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; Walk to end Alzheimer’s South Shore Walk, 309 Waverly Oaks Dr. Waltham MA 02452.
