Evelyn Carder Gibbs passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Age 90 years.


Beloved wife of the late Mark Gibbs, Jr.


Mother of Patrick Gibbs and the late Mark Gibbs, III. Mother-in-law of Barbara Garrity Gibbs. Grandmother of Emily, Mark and Molly Gibbs. Daughter of the late Bertha Keedy Carder and Uriah Jackson Carder. Sister of Mac Carder and the late Charlene Copeland, Dorene Ray, Homer Carder and Raymond Carder. Also survived by nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery), on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM.


Visitation Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until funeral time. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Little Rock, AK.
