Paul C. Bredfeldt, 54, of Austin, Minnesota, died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at his home.

He was born Sept.15, 1962, in Cameroon, Africa, to Jack and Hazel (Damgaard) Bredfeldt. Paul attended Southland High School. On Feb. 14, 1996, he was united in marriage to Kristi Ann Torres at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkton, Minnesota. Paul was a collector of marbles and sports cards, especially baseball and football. His favorite outdoor activity was fishing, and he enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, and poetry. Paul played computer games and enjoyed the company of his pets.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi Bredfeldt of Austin; his sisters, Deborah (Stanley) Harms of Quincy, Illinois, Ruth Ann (David) Gehrke of New Ulm, Minnesota, Naomi (Richard) Gabrielson of Rochester, Minnesota, and Sharon (Michael) Cooper of Rancho Palos Verdes, California; and his brother, John (Barbara) Bredfeldt of Tustin Ranch, California. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with the Rev. Liz Erickson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Worlein Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Elkton.
