She was born in St. Lawrence, daughter of the late Cyril and Laurenna (Albright) Kutruff.
Surviving are two children: David E. Thompson and wife, Jeanne (Thibault), of Flinton, and Teresa Stoltz and husband, Dennis, of Trussville, Ala.; four grandchildren: Bradley (Erin) Stoltz, Michael (Amanda) Stoltz, Brian Stoltz and Elizabeth Ann (Neil) Heverly; six great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Marian Long, Marnetta Carlson, Jack Kutruff and Loretta (Russ) Wharton.
She was preceded in death by three husbands: Earl A. Thompson in 1983, Cloyd Grimes in 1997 and Paul Watkins Jr. in 2016; a son, Joseph in 2015; a sister, Donna Eppling; and a brother, James.
Wanda’s greatest love was for her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and playing bingo at Garvey Manor. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today,
Aug. 4, 2017, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality, the Rev. Robert Mazur celebrant. Committal will be at Fairview Cemetery, R.D. LaJose.
The family suggests that contributions in Wanda’s memory be made to Garvey Manor Nursing Home,
