Walter Stephen Carr of Milton, died unexpectedly, Monday July 31, 2017.
Walter was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School and University of Massachusetts.
He worked for many years at the former Frank Wood Convalescent Home in Mattapan and recently retired from the Federal Reserve Bank as a computer operator. He was currently employed part-time at The Home Depot, Quincy Adams store.
Mr. Carr enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Trustees of the Reservation and the Quincy YMCA. He was a Eucharistic minister at Saint Agatha Church.
Beloved husband of Maureen M. (Lawlor) Carr.
Beloved son of Dorothy L. (Merrigan) Carr of Quincy and the late Charles M. Carr, Sr. Brother of Charles M. Carr Jr. of Las Vegas, NV and Christopher E. Carr of Milton.
Interment Milton Cemetery.
