Memorial services will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church Darien, with Rev. Jack Peeler officiating.
Born May 16, 1923 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Lee and Gladys S. Craddell, she was a graduate of Elkhorn High School in Elkhorn, Kentucky. She then trained at Louisville General Hospital in the Nursing program and entered the US Navy as a Nurse on February 1, 1947. After serving her country she worked in several military hospitals including Wynn Army Hospital in Hinesville where she retired in 1998. She had resided in McIntosh County for the past five years and was of the Episcopal Faith. Ms. Webster was an avid golfer, loved playing bridge, and attending her grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities. She also served as a den mother and certified CPR instructor for Boy Scouts Troop 210.
Survivors include three children, Harold Webster and wife Jackie of Darien, David Webster of Hoover, AL, and Susan W. Bazemore and husband Randy of Pooler, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, August 5, 2017 from 5 until 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Darien.
